Sabrina Strong is a touch clairvoyant who knows a secret or two: Her mother was turned into a vampire when she was ten, and she was bitten by the same vampire at the time, marking her to claim her at a later time. And she also knows that her next door neighbor is a witch.

Parentless at 21, she has to find a job. Oddly enough she has found something she can do: “clairvoyant wanted” caught her eye, and she went to the interview. But she is attacked by a wolf before she is even able to meet with Mr. Padauru—who she knows right away is a vampire. Lucky for her, he comes to her rescue, as does his companion, Steve.

Bjorn Tremayne is a seven foot tall, former Viking, and second most powerful vampire magnate of North America. His brother is his maker. He hires Sabrina to learn who has murdered other vampires in his ultra-modern stronghold/hotel. Especially he wants to know who has killed his beloved life-time mate, Letitia.

Sabrina isn't exactly crazy about working for vampires, but she needs the money. Plus, she figures this may be the only way of finding the mysterious and gorgeous vampire who has been turning up in her dreams, and perhaps peering in through her bedroom window at night all her life. He may be the one who bit her, and turned her mother. And she'd like very much to take her revenge.

Little does Sabrina know that her whole life is about to change as her best friend becomes a victim to a vampire, and she is the only one who can find her. This pulls her attention away from finding the murderer, and brings her into contact with Vasyl, a thousand year old rogue vampire. Is he the one who bit her and turned her mother 11 years ago?
